Declan Hartnett

Vice President, Mortgage Lending

"Buying a home is a monumental moment. I’m here to help my clients enjoy that moment."

Declan grew up on the Southside of Chicago in Beverly and is a graduate of the well-known Mount Carmel High School. Declan developed a passion for hockey at an early age. His time on the rink taught him the importance of hard-work and perseverance, and earned him the opportunity to play hockey at Western Michigan University while earning his degree in Marketing from the Hayworth College of Business. In this highly competitive environment he learned the importance of teamwork and leadership in achieving success.

As a mortgage banker, Declan continues to bring his work ethic, team approach and contagious attitude to help his clients navigate the mortgage process. He is an avid student of the industry and a graduate of XINNIX, The Mortgage Academy of Excellence. A distinction earned by less than 1% of all mortgage bankers in the United States.

Declan’s goal is to be a trusted mortgage adviser to his clients so they can enjoy the home buying / refinancing process. Working with a XINNIX-trained mortgage banker like Declan ensures you will be doing business with a knowledgeable professional you can trust.

Declan is able to get the best rates on the market, but other lenders likely can as well. Still, I would recommend Declan over someone else for two reasons: responsiveness and accountability. He always provides timely and detailed answers so that you feel in control of the process. Also, he will be very transparent any small hurdle should arise at any point in time.
