Declan grew up on the Southside of Chicago in Beverly and is a graduate of the well-known Mount Carmel High School. Declan developed a passion for hockey at an early age. His time on the rink taught him the importance of hard-work and perseverance, and earned him the opportunity to play hockey at Western Michigan University while earning his degree in Marketing from the Hayworth College of Business. In this highly competitive environment he learned the importance of teamwork and leadership in achieving success.

As a mortgage banker, Declan continues to bring his work ethic, team approach and contagious attitude to help his clients navigate the mortgage process. He is an avid student of the industry and a graduate of XINNIX, The Mortgage Academy of Excellence. A distinction earned by less than 1% of all mortgage bankers in the United States.

I have recommended Declan to several friends and family, all of whom worked with him and he delivered. We just bought a summer home with Declan and now are refinancing our primary home with him. The summer home was a complicated, out-of-state endeavor, and he overcame all hurdles and allowed us to close early. He has a "get it done" attitude.

Declan was extremely helpful from the beginning. We had spoken in May to get information about what he does and the process. We had decided to wait a little longer and reconnected again in August/September and he was just as informative and easy to get a hold of. He answered all of our questions and was quick to respond, which is appreciated as first-time homebuyers. Everything went smoothly with the time crunch we were on (purchasing a house as-is) and he did his best to get everything done on time. We already recommended him to a friend and we would definitely use him again in the future.
