Declan grew up on the Southside of Chicago in Beverly and is a graduate of the well-known Mount Carmel High School. Declan developed a passion for hockey at an early age. His time on the rink taught him the importance of hard-work and perseverance, and earned him the opportunity to play hockey at Western Michigan University while earning his degree in Marketing from the Hayworth College of Business. In this highly competitive environment he learned the importance of teamwork and leadership in achieving success.

As a mortgage banker, Declan continues to bring his work ethic, team approach and contagious attitude to help his clients navigate the mortgage process. He is an avid student of the industry and a graduate of XINNIX, The Mortgage Academy of Excellence. A distinction earned by less than 1% of all mortgage bankers in the United States.

Declan is great. He helped me close on my home in October 2019. Being a first time homeowner, I needed a lot of guidance and Declan helped me through it every step of the way. He thoroughly explained how everything works and always answers when I call. Later, in August of 2021, he helped me refinance which lowered my interest rate from 4.2 to 3.5 and dropped my PMI, ultimately saving me over $400 on my monthly mortgage escrow payments! Declan is a knowledgeable professional, I highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase or refinance their home.

I have recommended Declan to several friends and family, all of whom worked with him and he delivered. We just bought a summer home with Declan and now are refinancing our primary home with him. The summer home was a complicated, out-of-state endeavor, and he overcame all hurdles and allowed us to close early. He has a "get it done" attitude.
